Narrative

The storyline within our music video is partially chronological as we see the first couple together, then we see that the girl is with a new person. However the video itself is made up of shots of the new couple together and then the ex-boyfriend singing and playing guitar. It is implied that these two things are happening at the same time; the new couple are enjoying themselves whilst the ex is upset. However as it is made up of a montage of shots it is not actually chronological like a story, therefore our narrative is known as 'fragmented' as it is made up of separate shots of different activities.
